11/29 = A-m-a-z-i-n-g!

Amazing pretty much sums up November 29th, 2010. I'm sure you know that I already mentioned in a previous post that I was planning to go to Sarah Palin's book signing in LA. And obviously, I got my wish!!! Ha, I couldn't believe it ... Honestly. My luck actually went really well!! Oh, and may I add that I got to stay home from school that day? Yeah, so I guess that was pretty cool, too. :)

I was SO excited the whole day leading up to meeting her! The signing was THE only thing on my mind all freaking day. My dad was so sweet to actually get the wristband to the signing earlier that morning, so I could get to meet her! This is isn't fair to everyone else that waited forever to get a band that morning, but hey - I've known her since 2007, so I guess I shouldn't HAVE to wait. Okay, that's mean. Ha, nevermind. But if makes anyone feel better, I DID have to wait 2 1/2 hours before the signing started. I thought the line would be SO long when I got there, but it wasn't. My mom, her friend, and I were actually like # 45-47 in line.

Oh, Did you want to know how it went when I actually met her? Of course you did. ;) Well, it was great. Here's how it went (if I remember correctly):

Me: Hiiii!

(Shakes my hand)

Sarah: Hey! What's your name?

Me: I'm Demi.

Sarah: Demi, it's so nice to meet you!

Me: Can I give you a hug?

Sarah: Oh yeah, of course.

(Stands up, reaches across table, hugs me)

Sarah: Thanks so much for the support! Appreciate it!
Me: You're welcome. Thanks!

Sarah: You're so beautiful and so sweet! Have a great night!

Soooo, um, need I say more? Ha, I seriously had it ALL planned out what I was going to say, but when I actually went up to her, it just went out of my mind. Grrr! Asking for the hug was going to be the last thing. I wasn't intending to ask right away. After I left the table, she met my mom and I walked away (Not sure why?). Sarah said something about me, but I didn't catch it. Oh well. Yeah, it also doesn't help that my mom doesn't remember. Ahah.

I just wanted to share this amazing experience with you guys! :) And update my blog, it seems I've abandoned it. Ha!

What's been up?

I'm sure that is the question that all 34 of you have, right? Okay ... Maybe you do, maybe you don't. In fact, I'm like 100% positive that you don't care how long it's been since I updated the blog here. That's okay, though. I still think all of you are awesome for following my lame blog. :) Ha.

In all seriousness, though, this school year has been SO freaking exhausting!!!! I swear, I have NEVER studied/focused so much on school than I have this year. It's been crazy! But I'm so thankful that it's been paying off - The first 2 quarters I made Honor Roll. I just missed the last one by a point. A freaking point!!! Ugh. But it's all good - I'll get it again for this last quarter in this semester. Or so I hope. Ha, Spanish is holding me back. It's honestly been the ONLY subject I'm worried about: 99, 97, and 89 in all my other classes. That one 85 held me back. If you need to take a foreign language class, don't take Spanish. Too time confusing.. I spend all my time studying. But that may be because I'm slow in that area. But whatever! Even though it's been rough, it's been a great year so far. Thankfully!!!

I'm SOOOOOO excited!!!!!!! I don't know about any of you guys here, but I'm totally a huge supporter of this lady pictured above! Ha, I get that I'm only sixteen (call me a nerd) but I find her so inspiring! I hate that everyone is always on her - making negative comments and what not. I feel bad for her and her family. Okay, off track: This coming Monday (the 29th that is) I'm hoping to get the chance of a lifetime! I'll seriously hoping I get to meet her and get her to sign her new book. Ahhhh, I seriously can't wait. Last year she didn't come to Louisiana, but I'm so happy she's making a stop in New Orleans this year. You guys - wish me luck. Ha, my luck is always bad so I'm kinda not sure if I'll get the chance to meet her.

Anyway, I told you guys I would update you. And here it is. I hope you guys have a great Thanksgiving! Be thankful! :)

A little late.

Okay, more like a month and a half late!!! Ha, Gosh, I'm not a good blogger at all. I'm still alive, FYI. I can't write a long post now, but I'll update the blog for anyone who cares soon. :)

MIA/Homecoming

Before you ask, yeah, I know it's been 21 days since I last posted. Yiiiikkkkeeees! Ha, okay, wait ... That isn't TOO long. ;) Seriously though, I have been studying so freaking much. It sucks. Well, I'm passing with all A's, and a B so I guess it's paying off. It's taken soooo much of time, and by like 7:00 I'm passed OUT. Not normal for a 16 year old. Well, not for me anyway. I really wanna getting back to blogging, tho. I'll try. TRY!

Guess what? Well, don;t guess. The title gave it away! Haha. It's homecoming weekend. Yay? Eh. I'm going to the dance tomorrow, but I'm not too thrilled. I didn't go last year, so I promised myself I was going to go this year. And well, I don't really want to go. I have my dress, shoes, jewerly, ticket ... So not going is NOT an option. UGH! Actually, I'm more nervous than anything. It's my first dance, and well, my biggest fear? Some girl having the same dress as me. How freaking retarted do I sound? I know that's a crazy reason, but still. Another fear: I'll look stupid, and nothing will match with my dress. I just worry soo much, so I doubt I'll enjoy the night. NO WAY I'll stay the whole three hours. Maybe 2 hours. No more. Yeah, call me weird. Whatever. ;) This week was HC week @ school. So, of course we had all those crazy "theme" days. Like nerd day, PJ day, and what not. I'm proud to say ... I did NOT participate in any of them. Okay, wait, I did PJ day, but that was it. Pretty pathetic, right? I know, I know. I'll get into the spirit ... Senior year, maybe.

Baby Pictures

I was randomly going thru my closet today ... Okay, well actually, I was cleaning it. Yeah, huge shocker!!!! I'm always too lazy to get to it, but thankfully I got it done today! :) Not a cool way to spend a Friday night when I could be getting ready for a football game at school but hey .. At least it's done. And as I was cleaning it, I found a shoebox filled with baby pictures!!! Cute little surprise, right? Yeah, totally. And I thought it would be cool to post some pictures of them. I mean, since it is my blog and all. ;) I'm pretty sure that ALL of the pictures will end up showing up at the top of the post. UGH! I need to figure out how to post them correctly. Any takers on helping me out here? Any day would be cool. Most of them are just me, but the one with me in the little car, it's my little sister. It's hard to believe we actually played together when we were younger. SO not like that today. Haha. Anyway, enjoy!

I'm back!

Well, for now that is. Haha. I can't believe it's been two weeks since I posted!!! Two loooong weeks. Yeah, yeah, yeah ... You don't care!! But I'd just thought I'd write a new one. My blog seems kinda lonely/sad, so what's Demi to do? Update, duh! :)

School is still annoying. Eh. But on the bright side, it's gotten better. I've been studying FAR more (first for me, ha) and it's been pretty easy. Still Spanish is my weak spot. I think it'll always be. But I'm passing, tho. Can't complain.

This past weekend was kinda cool ... Okay, I said kinda. Hah, you may think otherwise and that's cool. I went to the New Orleans Arena with my older cousin, her two kids, and my aunt's grandkids. My 2nd cousin was trying out for the Stingers, a junior dance team (8-12) for the Honeybees (Hornet's). They got to learn some dances, play games, and basically have a fun time. It was cool, for me, because I got to watch some of the Honeybee's that were present perform dances, and they're REALLY good!!!! I don't go to basketball games, so I never see them perform. But they were great. It was a cool experience. God, now I sound lame, eh?

This weekend is my mom's birthday. And let me just say: I know everyone thinks their mom is THE best, but my mom is truly an amazing person. I don't tell her that much, and I really need to start. She works SIX jobs to support my younger sister and I, and she's not a young mom. Ha, I have two older sisters (35 and 29). I don't think she would want me to share her age on here, but she's somewhere in the 50's. ;) I have NO idea what to get her yet, but I know I need to get on it. Her birthday is Saturday. Ahhhh!!!!!

Well, I don't have much to share. But I need to sign off about now, and start homework. Joy, right? I'll try to keep up with my blog more often, but hey, I said that before, huh? I'll see if I try any harder. Ha.

Random Ramblings

Well, I'm back with a new post. Obviously, right? And even though I want to write a new post, I don't really have anything to say. Of course, I'll just add whatever I've been doing lately/or what's been on my mind. But honestly. THE only thing on my mind is still the Spanish class. UGH!!!!! I seriously can't express in words how much I dislike the class. I checked online, and so far.. I have an 87. A B! Really? I could do better than that. I'm pretty sure I screwed up on a graded class worksheet today, so that'll probably turn into an 84-85. So, yeah, see? I'm hating it. All my other classes: PE, English II, and World Geography are fab!

OH, and yeah, sorry for starting off on a negative note. I just had to mention it. ;)

I'm honestly really ready for January. I love the winter, and a big plus: It's the month of my birthday! I'm going to be turning 17, and I just realized the other day... I don't have my license yet. Uhhh, yeah, I need to get on that. I already know thr basics, but I should start studying. As in pronto. I haven't took Driver's Ed, because if I already know how to drive, then why would I waste time? I know it's good and you learn tons, but still. And I don't even know if I have to take it. Can't you just go take the tests when you turn 17? Help? Kinda confused. Haha.

Wow, I thought I would have more to share. But I'm not interesting, and my all my other thoughts are boring. These were too, but you get the point. I swear, I need to post fun things, or just keep a blog to myself! Ha.

Uh, This does NOT look good!

Wow. I totally forgot to update my blog with a new post!!!! Super, super sorry! Today, I was going thru someones blog, and suddenly it hit me: I haven't posted in a few days!! Again, sorry. Ha, I feel bad. Even though I know many people don't care.

Anyway, if you're wondering what my post title is all about: One thing - School! Haha, I swear. The first day didn't go well. AT ALL! It was pouring down raining, my hair was getting messed up, and I realized.. I have NO way how I'm going to pass Spanish class. Ehhhhhh, I regret choosing it now. I was going to take up French, but my mom convinced me to take Spanish, saying it was "easier". Ahh, I'm so nervous. I'm praying I'll be able to pass it. Oh, and third day of school tomorrow. Already a quiz. My gosh, he seems like a hard teacher. On top of that, I don't even know how to say most of the words we learned. Psssh. Did any of you take Spanish?! Tell me how it is, please? Ha, don't scare me though. ;) I have Biology and Geometry next semester, so I'm guessing that'll be tough, too. Gr, I wish I could fast forward to Senior year. This is not looking good, hence the title.

Well, I didn't have too much to say today. But I did want to let you guys in on that. I'll let you know how the quiz goes. Crossing my fingers!!! I can't wait for summer ... Pretty sad, right? Ha.

So Long

With a heavy heart, I'm here to announce that Summer 2010, for me, is OVER!!! Done. Ugh, I'm not even gonna go into how upset I am. Ha, I love summer! I'm sure that's everyone though, right?! I honestly am gonna miss it! Staying up late, hanging out with friends, sleeping late (Definitely), and pretty much doing whatever, and not having to worry about school, or homework. So, yeah.. Am I looking forward to school? Nope. Not one bit. But I know that I have only have three years left, so that kind of helps. BUT then again, college. I think college would be WAY better, though.

School starts tomorrow. And thankfully, I have everything done. I guess in a way I'm ready for it to start, but after the first few days, I'll be over it. Haha. Football games are fun.. Not to mention, the school dances. And I'm looking forward to that. Schoolwork? Homework? Studying? Eh, no.

So, what am I doing on this last day of summer? Well, nothing. I'm doing what I pretty much done all summer long.. Stay at home. But I'm not complaining today. I won't have days like this again until next summer. Next summer though, I want to go on vacation!!! I NEED that to happen. Haa. I'm pretty sure that we have a small trip planned for TN soon, so I'm looking forward to that. Guess I shouldn't complain, right? :)

Well, that's my last post of my summer. Bummer. OH, and to anyone who starts after me: Get off my blog!!! I don't want you on here. GO! Hah, of course.. I'm kidding!

Memories

I haven't posted the past few days. Sorry! And I probably won't again until Wednesday!!! I know, so sad. BUT I have been thinking about what I should blog about. And well, just look at the title.. Which, by the way, I'm sure you have, right? Haha. I just randomly came across this idea of mine, and thought it would be cool. Basically, if you're interested, share your favorite summer memory with us! It could be this summer's, or any summer in the past. Completely up to you, my dear! ;)

I have lots of them, and it's reallllly hard to pick just one favorite. But this summer? Hmmmm. This summer's been a total bore for the most part, but I did have some fun. I know this may sound SUPER lame, but shopping w/ my best friend. I've always liked shopping, but shopping with a best friend? Uh, hello.. What more could you ask for? Haaa. Seriously though, we always have fun shopping together. And we spend so much time have fun at the mall, that we barely buy a thing. So, yeah, I guess it isn't shopping, right? Eh, whatever. I feel so embarassed that that's the highlight of my summer. I needed to be on the beach, out of the house, relaxing.. And that didn't happen. There's always next summer, though. :)

Another Random Post

I don't have much to write (or blog) about today, so I just decided to write out some things that I'm thinking. My random thoughts. Ehhh, I know, I know.. Not fun or entertaining, but hey, that's all I can think of right now. Forgive me? Great! ;)

1. One week. Just 1, until school starts. Not happy, but we all know that. I feel like I say it ALL the time, and I know you're tired of hearing it. But I couldn't stop thinking about it today. It consumed my every thought, every minute. Blah.
2. I've learned today that you should be careful, as in REALLY careful when you're sitting backwards on a couch, and lean back like an idiot. In case you didn't get it, I fell. Clumsy.. Uh, yeah. Not only did I fell back, I landed half my weight on my poor, little left thumb. So, I think that's broken. Or not. Who knows? But it sucks.
3. Cleaning isn't fun. Nor is waiting. I got most of my school shopping done (Thank God!!!), so I started cleaning out my room to get ready to place all my new things into closets and what not. The waiting part? I ordered new shoes, but they probably won't arrive here til tomorrow. Ahhh, I'm super exicted. See, I'm weird like that. I get SO excited/happy about the smallest thngs. It annoys some people, but honestly.. It annoys me to. I keep having to remind myself it's just shoes. Haha.
4. Jersey Shore comes on again tonight. I like the show, I do. But I don't know why. I mean, really? Those people are c-r-a-z-y, but maybe that's why I love it? Ha, it's actually pretty funny. Seeing all the stupid things they do. (I don't sound TOO crazy, right? I know I am, but hopefully not as bad they are.)

Alright, I don't have anything else to share. Not anything worth reading, anyway. Give me ideas, people!!!!! I have NO clue as to what to blog about. I mean, I do.. But they're all lame. I want to hear from you all! :)

Blah, blah, blah

It's midnight. Okay, well.. Past midnight. 12:04. And I should be in bed. Sound asleep. But am I? Obviously not, right?

I can't sleep!!! Or maybe I can if I tried. Haha. In all honesty though, I'm DREADING tomorrow, or well, in this case, today!!!! It's that day where you have to drag yourself to school, get all "prettied up", get your textbooks, pay fines, and THE MOST horrible thing.. ID Pictures! Ew times a billion, eh? I hate it! My pictures for school always come out really bad. Which leads me to always trying to hide my ID in school, and I get so nervous when people ask to see it. Ugh, I get that IDs are needed, but pictures? Really? Not cool, people, not cool. Get rid of it, it would do us all a favor. Wait, I'm overeacting, right? Yeah, thought so. Sorry.

But I do have to get up early.. 6:45. Well, I don't HAVE to, but I need time to get myself ready. And I want to get it over with as soon as possible. My sister has to get blood taken early this morning, so that's going to put us back a bit. Ohhhh, but it's all good because after that, we go to school to get it all done. I'll seriosuly be SO happy when I walk out of the school, having everything done. I can just see it now. Ha, freaky, I know.

Okay, moving on. Sorry! I had to get it all out. SO, how's your summer going? But don't bother to leave a comment. No one does. Just answer that question to yourself. ;)

August 12th

I can totally understand how this kid feels! I mean, I'm sure this is will be my face when I walk into school August 12th. Yes, I've mentioned that I'm not ready for school a million times, but I can't say it enough!!! I'm NOT ready! Literally. Not just because I hate it, but because I haven't even started school shopping. Okay, well I did get three things done off the list, BUT still.. No where near ready.

School supplies? Nope.

New shoes? Nope.

The rest of my school clothes? Nope.

And still, there are LOTS more that I didn't mentioned. There are ten days that I have left to get all of this done. It doesn't seem like much, but I know I could get it all done. It kinda feels weird because this time last year, I had most of everything done and ready. I don't know what's up this year, but it's not the same. Obviously. And having hardly anything done, it makes me even more mad about school starting!!!

I'm sure though that even when I get all of this done, I'll still be unhappy about school starting. I mean, yeah.. School is fun sometimes, but five days a week? Eight hours a day? Uh, no. Not fun! This year is going to be tough, too. Spanish. Geometry (YUCK!). Biology. Not thrilled about that. At all.

Out & About

My weekend (well, with the expection of today) was spent being out and about. Hence the title of this post. I had a wedding to go to Friday night, and yesterday I was at a baby shower. So, you could say I was pretty busy all weekend. And I totally enjoyed every minute of it!! :) I need to get out more often with my friends, because nothing beats having a good time, right?

Poor, lazy me only got one picture at the wedding. Or no.. Wait. Of the WHOLE weekend! Ha, pretty sad, I know. But I did get some pictures taken there at the wedding, just not from my camera, so I can't share any pictures. Heartbreaking! I know you guys are SO upset, right? No need to let me know what I already know. ;)

But the wedding was nice. It was my sister's best friend's (who once was my BFF) mom's wedding. The place it was held at was really small, but it was super beautiful!! The food was good, and I think that's what I enjoyed the most. Haha. They had all kinds of it. Oh, and of course.. The cake was good too! I'm so happy for her mom and the guy she married. He's so sweet, and they make such a cute couple! :) Now all this wedding stuff has got me thinking about my own wedding. Ahhh!

Baby Shower was pretty fun, too. But all they did was eat. No games? No music? Wait, do they have music at BSs? Who knows.. But all they did really was sit around and eat. It wasn't boring, but it wasn't exciting. Oh well.

On the other hand.. Today is going to be back to normal: Boring! I have no plans, and no where to go. So, stuck home I am. Ugh! I'm only looking forward to one thing & one thing only about tonight: Shark Week begins! Yay!!! Ha, I love it!

Horrible Day

The title of this post describes my day VERY well. I won't go into further detail. Because of course, it wouldn't be fun to read. And who wants to hear anyone complain, right?

So, anyway.. The "big" topic, well one of them, of the day was the premire of Jersey Shore Season 2. Do you watch it? I'm dissapointed in myself, not only for watching it, but enjoying it. Haha. I love it. I was just curious if you were one of the many people who watched it.

Shortest blog post EVER! I know, but I didn't have much to say. I have a wedding tomorrow night, and maybe I'll blog about it. OR better yet, get some pictures taken. Maybe. We'll see. ;)

Was I actually busy today?

BREAKING NEWS: I, DEMI, ACTUALLY WASN'T HOME ALL DAY! AND I WAS BUSY! Yep, just thought I'd let you guys in on the little headline that made the news today. ;)

Seriously though, I was actually busy today. My niece, the oldest one, had surgery today, so that consisted of me waking up bright & early, and heading to the hospital with my mom/sister/cousin to see her. I wasn't excited about having to get on early on a summer morning, especially when summer is quickly coming to an end, but seeing her before her surgery was definitely mandatory. She did fine though, and we're so happy. Obviously, right? Who wouldn't be? Haha.

And after the hospital visit, we went off to Target to get some things. Okay, but I just have to add: I so wanted to start getting my school supplies today, but you know mothers.. Complain, complain, complain. Ahh! Why are they all like that? Well, maybe your's isn't. And if she isn't.. You're a thousand times lucky!! Ha. OH, and while I was there.. I did get a book to read. It's "Look Again" by Lisa Scottoline. And so far, it's good! I love reading, so I'm always getting books to read. Yeah, I know.. Sounds nerdy, right?

Blast from the Past

Last night some of my family.. Well not some, more like a few of my family, went off to this little cool place called Chuck E Cheese. Do you remember that place? I'm sure you do. I spent most of my childhood days there. That used to be like THE coolest place ever for me. When I was four. Now, I think it's safe to say that I don't find it so entertaining anymore. I mean, it's pretty obvious. Look how horrible I look.. Not so great, right? After an hour there, I started to get an eye infection. Not cool. On top of that, I was not having fun. Ugh. But hey, I did get out of the house. That's always a HUGE accomplishment for me. :)

Today's been pretty good, and I'm happy. So, thank you July 24th, 2010 for making this day one of the best! My friend came over, and we went off to shop (yay!), eat out, and have fun!!! It definitely felt amazing! It just shows how much fun one can have when you're not stuck at home. I don't really have much to say tonight. (That's gotta change, eh?) But I'm praying to have something to blog about soon. I'm not living up to my blog title.. The DAILY part. Hah, oops. Guess I should change it, huh?

What happened?

I haven't blogged in forever. Okay, maybe not FOREVER, but it seems like a while, right? Or maybe just four days.. Like it has been. Haha.

And I was wondering: What happened? Uh, yeah, I have no clue!! I had so much determination that I would write a post EVERY.SINGLE.DAY! But that hasn't happened. I don't think it will, either. It's not that I don't want to blog everyday, I honestly do. But coming up with something to blog about is challenging.. Or maybe it just seems that way to me. I say I'll try to do things all the time, but maybe I need to start trying hard enough.

I'm praying that I find interesting things to blog about. I know you guys probably find this as the most boring blog ever. I need more "fun" brought into it. Ha, any ideas from all you awesome bloggers? ;)

Moving on: I've been BORED! I have not left this house for the past three days. And it sucks. Big time. I need to get out!! Or, I get to get a car VERRRY soon! I love being home, but for so many days at a time? Uh, not my thing. But I did get a chance to finish my SR (Summer reading!) I'm so happy! And I thoroughly enjoyed the book I chose to read, Nineteen Minutes. I even found myself in tears thru some of it. Hah, gosh.. I sound so weird. But honestly, it was a good! Though, I'm really glad I'm done, and got finished in four days.

Speaking of school, I need to start shopping for the new school year. I've made a list, and I'm pretty sure my parents aren't happy. It's pretty long, filled with things like: New shoes, new clothes (uniforms - ew!), belts, getting my nails done (not NEEDED, but WANTED), supplies.. You get the point, don't you? Have any of you started shopping yet? I need to get this all done by the 12th of August.

Well, that's all I had to say for today. I wish it was interesting, but I don't think I'm capable of anything interesting. Haha. Hope you're enjoying your week, and aren't stuck at home! :)

Summer Reading

I haven't posted the last few days - Super sorry to the few who do read! But I'm here today to give you guys an update. Are you happy?! Great. I thought so. ;)

Yesterday, one of my older sisters drove my sister, her two kids, and my dad and me, to Lafayette, a town about 2 hours from where I am, to visit with some grandparents that I RARELY see!! It was a pretty nice trip.. We got to visit with them, eat a great lunch, and look at old family photo albums. So, I think it's safe to say I enjoyed my day. It's pretty sad though, I wish I could see my grandma/grandpa more! Well, he's my step-grandpa. I never really see my grandpa. It's totally ashame, I know. He's in a nursing home, doubts he even remembers us. So, yeaaah.. NEED to go visit soon!

Anyway, while I was there yesterday, my lovely sister drove me (plus my grandma and my niece) to a local Barnes & Noble to get a book I needed for Summer Reading. Ugh. It was something that HAD to be bought. School's less than a month away, and it needs to be finished. Well, I was looking around and saw LC's book, L.A. Candy & I had to have it right away!!! It looks pretty good, I mean it IS a Bestseller, and it's by an amazing person. Haha. Has any of you guys read it? What are your thoughts? My sister was sweet enough to buy my book for school.. Which was $16 for a paperback. Wtf? Crazzzy. And I got LC's book with my own money. But I felt really bad - I would have paid for them both. I swear I'm not selfish or anything! Ha.

Started reading "Nineteen Minutes", which was one of the choices on the list, and so far.. It's SO good! I'm really enjoying it. I was sooo freaking mad when I found out how big of a book it is, but now that I love it, that's not a problem! :)

Well, that's all I really have to blog about today. Not much going on here. BUT before I sign off, I just have to mention: I got my schedule yesterday, as well as my Freshman sister, and I noticed that we have a class together!! The same exact class. How WEIRD! I mean, it's a computer class, one that I have to take, but still.. I think I'll be totally uncomfortable. I love her, I really do, she's my sister.. But having her in a class with me? Strange. She doesn't seem to have a problem with it, but I'm on the fence. I emailed one of the principals who deals with mistakes on schedules, and asked her if there a way to possible change the period I have the class. Haha. God, I feel like a bad sister! Ehhhh.

Fun in the Sun!

Today.. Today was good! And do you want to know why it was SO good?!! I GOT OUT OF THE HOUSE!!!! Oh My God, praise the Lord! Haha, I swear it felt so nice.

Since my mom was off today, like every Wednesday, we went to a pretty cool water/theme park in Baton Rouge with my aunt, two neices/nephews, and my aunt's grandkids. Last summer, that was like our second home! Every week, sometimes three times a week, we would go there. We still have Season Passes for this summer, but we BARELY went. Today made only our second time and it's July 14th. Pretty sad, right? I know.

I had fun, but it was HOT!! Of course it is every time, but still.. Today was the hottest. Oh, and little smart me forgot to put on sunscreen (I'm not super white, but I burn easily). So, yes.. If you guessed, I'm now sunburnt. Ew times a thousand. Not that I hate how it hurts, but when it's on your face - Not a pretty sight!!

I never bring a camera, so I didn't take pictures. BUT I'm swearing that next time.. I will. Or I'll try? Haha. Though I did manage to get a pretty lousy picture.. One of the MANY sights you always see on the interstates in Louisiana. I'm sure you already saw it. It ended up at the very top of the post. How do I center pictures without them ending up at the top? It's annoying to say the least.

On another random note(s): My last little post failed.. BIG time!! I feel like an idiot. I thought it would go really well, but I was wrong. Did it really suck that bad? But I'm thankful for the two people that did comment. Thanks times a billion! :)

OHHHHH, and I get my schedule tomorrow!! YES! I hate school, but I'm so anxious to see if I got the classes I wanted. I'm hoping I do. But then this is just another reminder that school's starting pretty soon. August 12th.. I hate you already!

All About You

I told you guys that I had an idea of a post brewing around in my head. And well, today I'm going to post it. It's not going to be boring, I promise. Or at least, I hope not!?

Basically, I want to get to know some of my followers on here. You all seem pretty interesting, and awesome. So, what better way than to post a comment letting us find out some things about you? I mean, it would be cool if others saw your comment, found you pretty cool, and haven't followed you yet, and they get the chance to do just that!! I just figured it would be cool to get to learn about you guys, and meet each other! Hopefully, this doesn't sound like I'm some kind of freak. Haha.

Okay, since this is MY blog, I'll go ahead and share some things about me. I'll make it super short for you guys' sake. Promise.

I'm currently sixteen, and finding it a little hard to believe I'm almost eighteen! I'll be going into the tenth grade, which I'm not really looking forward to. Freshmen year sucked a bit, so I'm hoping this isn't the case this year. I have three sisters, two of which are older - like REALLY older. Ha, older as in 27 & 35. Riiight, crazy, I know! Aunt to six, count 'em six little ones. I enjoy it, though! I've never, ever had a boyfriend. Yessss, I hate to admit that. :( It makes me sound like a loner, which I'm really not. It's complicated. So, I'm no expert in relationships, and things relating to that matter.

I could go on, and on, and on.. But I promised I would make it short. Now, guess what?! It's YOUR turn! Yay! ;)

Just a Recap (Not to read if you get easily bored!)

If you get easily bored, and didn't read the title of this post.. You're out of luck. Because this post is just another boring post. I'm seriously sorry.. I can't think of anything to blog about. BUT I do have a post brewing in my mind, so be on the lookout. ;)

Anyway, so far.. This Sunday has been a relaxing, laid-back one. Much different than yesterday, which of course, to me, is wonderful!! Ahhh, yesterday was too busy. I mentioned I has to babysit last night, right? OH, and clean the house, my room, etc. I didn't enjoy last night AT ALL. But today.. Today's been different.

It's really strange, I woke up today & felt the sudden urge to clean. Clean!!!! Now remember, I did this last night. But today, I wanted to clean the windows, clean around my computer desk, fix photo frames in our living room (like arrange them differently).. It was strange. I don't like cleaning too much, but when it's done & everything's all clean, it feels grrreat! That's how I spent the first part of my day.

Later, I just sat around & watched me some tele tee (TV)! Another weird thing: I hate The Hills. But today, that's what I watched. Uh, can someone explain this to me? And I also don't watch Holly's World, but I did today. I guess I was SUPER bored, and wasn't thinking straight. Haha, I swear.. I spent most of the day doing things I don't normally do.

And on another note: Who remembers this song? I heard this on the radio today, and I fell in love with it all over again. This was my jam back in 2006. Those days of music are far behind us.

How do you like my unique blog title? It's clever, right?! ;) I couldn't come up with a title.. Sorry!!

So, I don't have anything to say tonight. It's been a busy day, I'm tired. AND on top of that - BABYSITTING!! Ugh, kill me. Now, please. But I know you guys are happy that I don't have anything to say. Haha. Trust me, if I were to blog tonight, I would honestly bore you! So, why do that?

Anyway, I'll post tomorrow most likely. I'll save you the torture til then! :)

TRP - The Random Post

So, I didn't really have an idea of what I wanted to blog about today, or anything that I wanted to say in particular. And I decided that whenever that happens, I'll just made a random post (hence the title of the post). It'll just be like a random list of things that goes thru my oh-so-wondering mind. Everyone say "YAY!!". Ahah, okay.. Don't! But I'll start anyway.

1. Today's THE most wonderful day of all - FRIDAY! Like the picture I added for some effects? Ha. Normally, I would be excited, thrilled, stoked, you name it. But it's summer, so it's just like any other day. On the other hand, though, my mom's work week is winding down, so you know what that means? I GET OUT OF THIS HOUSE! Finally. I have stared at these four walls for God knows how long.

2. For the last week, I've set my alarm clock for 9:00 in the morning to get up! The point of that? I have no clue. I don't have any plans for the day, but whenever I sleep past, say like 10 or 11, I feel like half my day is wasted. I know I sound weird, but tell me that I'm not crazy? Ehh.

3. Summer Reading - Who has it & who HATES it??!! About a month and 1/2 ago, the school sent us a list of books we had to choose from to read for summer, and then this worksheet that had to be filled out along with it. It's summer for God's sake - who wants to read & do work along with it? Oh, and the best part? I have yet to start it. I reallllly need to get on it.


4. I need a JOB! Like, as in NOW. Pronto. Who doesn't need money? In my opinion, you never have enough money. Well, maybe if you're Oprah. But I'm not, never will be, don't wanna be, so yes.. A job is needed. My problem? I honestly can't stand the idea of working with other people my age that I don't know. It's strange, but I don't. OH, and on top of that.. I'm shy. So, that's another problem. UGH! Why me? But I will get a job.. Even if I have to work with old people. Ha, and strange enough, I wouldn't mind that. Call me weird.

So, there you have it. My list of random thoughts. Now, I just hope I haven't put you to sleep with this, considering it was a pretty random/boring post. Sorry!

Vacation.. Where are you?

See that picture right above this?! Isn't it just beautiful? Yeah, I know. I think the same. ;) NOW, that's where I wish I could be right at this moment. Away from home, out relaxing, no worries.. You get the picture, right?

BUT instead I'm stuck in this place we call Louisiana. (Pictured right, obviously.) Ew, I mean seriously.. Look at that beautiful beach compared to the picture of our state. No comparison, right? Don't get me wrong -- I LOVE Louisiana. I honestly do. But everyone & their grandma it seems are going on vacations, and out there enjoying summer! Ahhhhh, why can't it be that way for me? Me wanna go to the beach! :(

It's already July 8th, JULY 8TH!!!!! I start school next month.. August 12th to be exact! Way too early, and that's not even that far from here. I need something exciting, refreshing, fun to do.

Okay, yeah.. I think I'm done. I'm off to enjoy another boring day, and continue my dreaming of the BEACH! :D

(Haha, just the word gets me hyped up!)

**Extra: While I'm not so excited about school starting again soon, I am excited about receiving my schedule in the mail!! Last year, the school was so early in mailing them out. But this year.. We have yet to recieved them. I'm anxious to see if they gave me the newspaper class I've been wanting so badly! Hopefully, I'll get it today in the mail! SO, I'll also add that to my dreaming, along with the beach. :P

Crazy-filled day!

That's what my day has been like thus far. I don't know if I mentioned this before.. Oh wait, that's right I never did tell you about my CRAZY family!! But that's for a whole other blog post. Haha. ;) My family is pretty "up there", but not that I'm complaining.. I love it!

Today, one of my brother-in-laws brought my neice & nephew for my mom to watch while my sister & he went to work. And let me just say: They are SO wild!! Fighting, arguing, etc.. It's always the same deal with them when they're here. But I love them, so I don't mind. Okay, wait.. I DO mind some, but they're my family, and that's just the way they are. So, that's all cool!

The day started off with my waking up, going downstairs to find that there they were.. Their dad's big truck dropping them off. This was around 9:00 AM. Cool. So, they come in, we go into the living room, chit chat (They just got back from FL the other day, so I was asking them about it), and just hang around. I became an aunt at a young age.. 6 years old! SUPER young, right? My oldest neice (the one here today) is 10, and her brother is 6, soon to be 7. Therefore, we're not that far in age. Pretty close, actually.

Then, CHAOS!!!!! They start doing their normal routine.. Their oh so famous fighting! Of course, this means that I shomewho get involved! Ugh! So, that's what I mean when I say, Crazy-filled day! Because it has been a crazy one! But a good one! :)

They're gone now.. Just left actually. That means.. QUIET! Yay! Haha. I have just finished eating chinese food.. Seasame Chicken.. Yummy, right? So, now.. I'm content! Made up for my crazy day! :D

Katharine McPhee used to be my all-time favorite artist, but like everyone I tend to like, that has since changed! But I still enjoy her music! And this song is PHENOMENAL! I love, love, love it. New to this! (Welcomes welcomed :D)

I'm new here to this "blogging world". Yes, I've had a few blogs before. BUT those didn't lead anywhere.. I barely posted, uploaded pictures, videos, etc. So, I'm hoping that this leads me to bigger & better things. Haha, okay.. I know it won't. But I just want this blog to record all the rest of my high school journey.

In about a month, I'll be a sopohomore. I can't believe it's almost been a year since I've started this crazy thing called HS! Where does time go?! Freshmen year was OKAY.. I'm not some "popular, cool" kid around campus, so I didn't go to any dances, school functions, games (only a few), etc. And honestly, I'm pretty bummed about it. You see all these kids from schools all around having fun and doing everything, and I wasn't one of them. Maybe it's because I don't have many friends, and I barely do anything. BUT this coming year.. I swore that I will try to make every dance, game, and function. Now I said TRY. ;) Haha, I want to record it all.. Thus the reason why I created this blog.

And while I want to record about high school, I'm going to use this to also post about some pretty random things going on. I can be really random at times, so what better way to do it than in a blog, right? I just hope I don't bore anyone who reads this.. If anyone does happen to.
