What's been up?

I'm sure that is the question that all 34 of you have, right? Okay ... Maybe you do, maybe you don't. In fact, I'm like 100% positive that you don't care how long it's been since I updated the blog here. That's okay, though. I still think all of you are awesome for following my lame blog. :) Ha.

In all seriousness, though, this school year has been SO freaking exhausting!!!! I swear, I have NEVER studied/focused so much on school than I have this year. It's been crazy! But I'm so thankful that it's been paying off - The first 2 quarters I made Honor Roll. I just missed the last one by a point. A freaking point!!! Ugh. But it's all good - I'll get it again for this last quarter in this semester. Or so I hope. Ha, Spanish is holding me back. It's honestly been the ONLY subject I'm worried about: 99, 97, and 89 in all my other classes. That one 85 held me back. If you need to take a foreign language class, don't take Spanish. Too time confusing.. I spend all my time studying. But that may be because I'm slow in that area. But whatever! Even though it's been rough, it's been a great year so far. Thankfully!!!

I'm SOOOOOO excited!!!!!!! I don't know about any of you guys here, but I'm totally a huge supporter of this lady pictured above! Ha, I get that I'm only sixteen (call me a nerd) but I find her so inspiring! I hate that everyone is always on her - making negative comments and what not. I feel bad for her and her family. Okay, off track: This coming Monday (the 29th that is) I'm hoping to get the chance of a lifetime! I'll seriously hoping I get to meet her and get her to sign her new book. Ahhhh, I seriously can't wait. Last year she didn't come to Louisiana, but I'm so happy she's making a stop in New Orleans this year. You guys - wish me luck. Ha, my luck is always bad so I'm kinda not sure if I'll get the chance to meet her.

Anyway, I told you guys I would update you. And here it is. I hope you guys have a great Thanksgiving! Be thankful! :)

A little late.

Okay, more like a month and a half late!!! Ha, Gosh, I'm not a good blogger at all. I'm still alive, FYI. I can't write a long post now, but I'll update the blog for anyone who cares soon. :)

MIA/Homecoming

Before you ask, yeah, I know it's been 21 days since I last posted. Yiiiikkkkeeees! Ha, okay, wait ... That isn't TOO long. ;) Seriously though, I have been studying so freaking much. It sucks. Well, I'm passing with all A's, and a B so I guess it's paying off. It's taken soooo much of time, and by like 7:00 I'm passed OUT. Not normal for a 16 year old. Well, not for me anyway. I really wanna getting back to blogging, tho. I'll try. TRY!

Guess what? Well, don;t guess. The title gave it away! Haha. It's homecoming weekend. Yay? Eh. I'm going to the dance tomorrow, but I'm not too thrilled. I didn't go last year, so I promised myself I was going to go this year. And well, I don't really want to go. I have my dress, shoes, jewerly, ticket ... So not going is NOT an option. UGH! Actually, I'm more nervous than anything. It's my first dance, and well, my biggest fear? Some girl having the same dress as me. How freaking retarted do I sound? I know that's a crazy reason, but still. Another fear: I'll look stupid, and nothing will match with my dress. I just worry soo much, so I doubt I'll enjoy the night. NO WAY I'll stay the whole three hours. Maybe 2 hours. No more. Yeah, call me weird. Whatever. ;) This week was HC week @ school. So, of course we had all those crazy "theme" days. Like nerd day, PJ day, and what not. I'm proud to say ... I did NOT participate in any of them. Okay, wait, I did PJ day, but that was it. Pretty pathetic, right? I know, I know. I'll get into the spirit ... Senior year, maybe.

Baby Pictures

I was randomly going thru my closet today ... Okay, well actually, I was cleaning it. Yeah, huge shocker!!!! I'm always too lazy to get to it, but thankfully I got it done today! :) Not a cool way to spend a Friday night when I could be getting ready for a football game at school but hey .. At least it's done. And as I was cleaning it, I found a shoebox filled with baby pictures!!! Cute little surprise, right? Yeah, totally. And I thought it would be cool to post some pictures of them. I mean, since it is my blog and all. ;) I'm pretty sure that ALL of the pictures will end up showing up at the top of the post. UGH! I need to figure out how to post them correctly. Any takers on helping me out here? Any day would be cool. Most of them are just me, but the one with me in the little car, it's my little sister. It's hard to believe we actually played together when we were younger. SO not like that today. Haha. Anyway, enjoy!

I'm back!

Well, for now that is. Haha. I can't believe it's been two weeks since I posted!!! Two loooong weeks. Yeah, yeah, yeah ... You don't care!! But I'd just thought I'd write a new one. My blog seems kinda lonely/sad, so what's Demi to do? Update, duh! :)

School is still annoying. Eh. But on the bright side, it's gotten better. I've been studying FAR more (first for me, ha) and it's been pretty easy. Still Spanish is my weak spot. I think it'll always be. But I'm passing, tho. Can't complain.

This past weekend was kinda cool ... Okay, I said kinda. Hah, you may think otherwise and that's cool. I went to the New Orleans Arena with my older cousin, her two kids, and my aunt's grandkids. My 2nd cousin was trying out for the Stingers, a junior dance team (8-12) for the Honeybees (Hornet's). They got to learn some dances, play games, and basically have a fun time. It was cool, for me, because I got to watch some of the Honeybee's that were present perform dances, and they're REALLY good!!!! I don't go to basketball games, so I never see them perform. But they were great. It was a cool experience. God, now I sound lame, eh?

This weekend is my mom's birthday. And let me just say: I know everyone thinks their mom is THE best, but my mom is truly an amazing person. I don't tell her that much, and I really need to start. She works SIX jobs to support my younger sister and I, and she's not a young mom. Ha, I have two older sisters (35 and 29). I don't think she would want me to share her age on here, but she's somewhere in the 50's. ;) I have NO idea what to get her yet, but I know I need to get on it. Her birthday is Saturday. Ahhhh!!!!!

Well, I don't have much to share. But I need to sign off about now, and start homework. Joy, right? I'll try to keep up with my blog more often, but hey, I said that before, huh? I'll see if I try any harder. Ha.

Random Ramblings

Well, I'm back with a new post. Obviously, right? And even though I want to write a new post, I don't really have anything to say. Of course, I'll just add whatever I've been doing lately/or what's been on my mind. But honestly. THE only thing on my mind is still the Spanish class. UGH!!!!! I seriously can't express in words how much I dislike the class. I checked online, and so far.. I have an 87. A B! Really? I could do better than that. I'm pretty sure I screwed up on a graded class worksheet today, so that'll probably turn into an 84-85. So, yeah, see? I'm hating it. All my other classes: PE, English II, and World Geography are fab!

OH, and yeah, sorry for starting off on a negative note. I just had to mention it. ;)

I'm honestly really ready for January. I love the winter, and a big plus: It's the month of my birthday! I'm going to be turning 17, and I just realized the other day... I don't have my license yet. Uhhh, yeah, I need to get on that. I already know thr basics, but I should start studying. As in pronto. I haven't took Driver's Ed, because if I already know how to drive, then why would I waste time? I know it's good and you learn tons, but still. And I don't even know if I have to take it. Can't you just go take the tests when you turn 17? Help? Kinda confused. Haha.

Wow, I thought I would have more to share. But I'm not interesting, and my all my other thoughts are boring. These were too, but you get the point. I swear, I need to post fun things, or just keep a blog to myself! Ha.

Uh, This does NOT look good!

Wow. I totally forgot to update my blog with a new post!!!! Super, super sorry! Today, I was going thru someones blog, and suddenly it hit me: I haven't posted in a few days!! Again, sorry. Ha, I feel bad. Even though I know many people don't care.

Anyway, if you're wondering what my post title is all about: One thing - School! Haha, I swear. The first day didn't go well. AT ALL! It was pouring down raining, my hair was getting messed up, and I realized.. I have NO way how I'm going to pass Spanish class. Ehhhhhh, I regret choosing it now. I was going to take up French, but my mom convinced me to take Spanish, saying it was "easier". Ahh, I'm so nervous. I'm praying I'll be able to pass it. Oh, and third day of school tomorrow. Already a quiz. My gosh, he seems like a hard teacher. On top of that, I don't even know how to say most of the words we learned. Psssh. Did any of you take Spanish?! Tell me how it is, please? Ha, don't scare me though. ;) I have Biology and Geometry next semester, so I'm guessing that'll be tough, too. Gr, I wish I could fast forward to Senior year. This is not looking good, hence the title.

Well, I didn't have too much to say today. But I did want to let you guys in on that. I'll let you know how the quiz goes. Crossing my fingers!!! I can't wait for summer ... Pretty sad, right? Ha.
